The SELA Cultural Center will be a multi-arts facility that weaves together world-class design and high-caliber programming from across Los Angeles County with the vibrant culture of the surrounding community.

 

The SELA Cultural Center will be located at a prominent site near the Confluence where the LA River and the Rio Hondo meet in South Gate.

About RMC

RMC (The San Gabriel and Lower Los Angeles Rivers and Mountains Conservancy) is 1 of 10 state conservancies under the California Natural Resources Agency. Its mission includes support of environmental conservation, education, and revitalization projects for communities in the San Gabriel and Lower LA River watersheds. The RMC is leading the administration of the SELA Cultural Center and the project team.
